27 years ago, the lives of Darren Barden and his family changed forever when two unknown men knocked on their door. He received over 20 stab wounds in a brutal knife attack in his own home.

This tragic case of mistaken identity almost ended Darren's life - 13 years after the attack he developed depression, extreme symptoms of PTSD and almost took his own life.

He shares with us his road to recovery and how today he is making a difference by supporting those working in the construction industry who experience mental ill-health and suicidal thoughts.
