For The Jordan Legacy's first brand new Jordan's Space for 2024, Steve and the team talk to Mark about the mental health struggles he began experiencing in his 20's, culminating in an attempt to end his own life in 2001.But Mark's journey is about much more than his own 'Breakdown and Repair' (the title of the first of two books he has authored) - as he was recovering from his own mental health challenges, his 16-year-old daughter developed a severe eating disorder which almost ended her life.He explains how the support from family and colleagues, together with the right treatment, enabled him to recover from his mental ill-health. And how he believes that his own personal challenges gave him a clearer insight into his daughter's struggles, enabling him to better support her toward her own recovery.

Despite a tragic accident at just 14-years-old that left him with severe physical and mental scars, Marc's story is one of incredible positivity, resilience, hope and determination - his strong belief that you can survive anything if you develop the inner resources to face it head on and forge a new path, whatever your physical limitations.
Marc teaches us that 'looking on the inside for one's validation, mixed with the connections of a supportive community, is a powerful combination. It can stop that downward mental spiral that can affect anyone at any point in their life.'
